Why are we debating whether the crowds will fall? They already have done, massively. Crowds last year were embarrassing for a season in which we'd just dropped out of, and were promoted back to, the Premier League. The previous time we were relegated from the PL (and actually had a very average season after a really poor start) our lowest crowd of the season was about 19,000. Our reported average last season was significantly less than last year's lowest crowd. I haven't checked, but apparently the accounts which were just released show the club accounted for significantly smaller attendances than were reported at the time too. Oh and we didn't come close to selling out Wembley even though last time we broke the ****ing playoff final ticket sales record which has only been beaten once since.
Nail on head mate. The crowds are embarrassing and the overall reason is because the allams have hacked so many off. At the start of last season, and again this one, some on here were predicting much bigger crowds. They said that the stay away protesters would have no effect. Well, stats prove that they have played a big part and that's why the attendances have been so poor. To have empty seats all over the stadium when playing what are the biggest clubs in this league is an embarrassment and this is all down to the general apathy towards the owners by many long standing supporters. The concession thing has played a big part also but of course the owners keep their head in the sand denying anything is wrong. They let Mooney do the talking on their behalf last season when it was quite obvious to anyone attending matches that for many games there were less than 15000 in the ground. Mooney was quoted as saying that gates had stood up and the club were overall happy with attendances. I think the figure of 17000 odd was quoted. They lied then and have been found out with the accounts quoting the attendances as being 14000 plus. You cannot believe a word that they say and now because they have been found out nothing ever comes out of the club.
To be fair, you were 100% correct about this and other things.... (very hard to admit that lol) Still a **** though
I personally feel that there needs to be a massive resurgence in the out campaign. It'll mean **** all to the press now its gone to bed, but 'WE" cannot let it lie...
As long as the Allams are here there is no Hull City..........you will find no mention of Hull City anywhere near the club owned by the Allams I will never step foot in the KC again as long as either of those clowns have even a passing interest in the club......I've quite enjoyed spending the £1000's I have not been giving to them
Wrong. You will see various names in and around the club. Hull Tigers, Hull City, Hull City AFC, Hull City Tigers. They are so slapdash and half arsed, that they couldn't even effect the name change thoroughly and properly.
There really were quite a few of us who never really knew, but knew enough. It really is a tad disapointing to read of those who got it slightly wrong (arf) , ratther than those who got it rather right. You don't need the weatherman to ...
At the outset I would agree, but not long after a few had real concerns and they stuck with them concerns and took flak. They (edit: the owners) are a certain type of person, father and son are different, but they are from the same mould.
We struggled to sell out against Chelsea which would have been unheard of previously. Christ knows what the attendances will end up being like in the next few weeks against Stoke, West Brom and Palace.
You're confusing threads. Try and keep a perspective or folk will be calling you an argumentative thick ****, even though you're not, are?
NO, I sit here on my computer just waiting for your tasty morsels of information. then I start fapping like a man possessed!
