Which is fair enough, I think you have already paid him enough to play for other teams :emoticon-0100-smile

It's a good job Liverpool can afford these losses

We paid a fifth of his wages while he was on loan, we negotiated that very well too.

Pity the view is so restricted in many of the seats. If they had paid the money for decent architect's it could have been a good stand.

As fans we got what we wanted - staying in our 'spiritual home' - Everton fans will get what they want - a move. There are a lot of obstacles to overcome for the dock move and personally I don't see the one dock being big enough but I'm sure clever people are on it.

    Spiritual home?

Anywhere in the city limits should be 'home'

Down at the dock, make it so Joe

Are those 2 images to scale? I read somewhere that the new stadium with fan zones etc required 15 hectares, the Bramley Moore is just shy of 4 hectares but as I said I'm sure they've worked out a new stadium would fit on the site or why go for it?

Bramley Moore Dock gates and retaining wall are gradeII listed, that's gonna slow the matchday traffic down big-time.<whistle>

Come on you don't need spiritual home explaining to you.

Most LFC fans wanted to stay on the site where all the greats have lived and breathed life into our football club. When the King's Dock was mooted and ground share was mentioned, very few Liverpool fans wanted that. When you lot couldn't come up with the 20 mil we could have had it outright but there's never been a desire for Liverpool to leave Anfield.
