We still looked better than when we played Slovakia. We had ideas today, moved the ball well and players weren't static when they didn't have it. I like having Walcott back in the squad, we need a few players in there who have big game experience and he's been playing well lately. Alli in behind the strikers is where I want to see him play every time. If Rooney's not playing in midfield then he needs to be left out. Maybe he'll be dropped for Dier in the future but probably not until after the World Cup. It was an enjoyable match with signs that Gareth can do something a bit different from Hodgson.
