Anyone seen hamiltons drivers press conference performance. Quite fun. I think they press have gone a bit mad about it and calling disrespect but.... well **** them I think its funny.
When his biggest cheer leading squad says he's showing a lack of respect expected of a F1 champion, I think he might of gone too far. http://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12...is-hamilton-after-distracted-press-conference
He is right in some ways, surely it's not hard to get some fans questions. I'm sure they can still be hand picked to create tabloid rubbish stirring questions
If he's bored he's bored. I can't criticise him for that. Same **** every other Thursday. Kimi behaves the same.
I think they know hes not favorite for the title so need ammo for the post motem articles already being written...
Kimi is a total **** to them, if its alright to say so on this board. He really makes his few feelings clear.
With Kimi everyone accepts it because that's how he has always been. Any other driver gets called moody, disrespectful, bored etc etc if they do the same thing. It is a bit of double standards.
Well this is true. I think its a) out of the norm b) at a time when hamilton ought to be whining at them but he wasn't which is a very welcome change.
So P1 and P2 Very close so far, not a big gap yet to ferrari. red bull not quite up to speed in qauli practice laps yet. I would expect mercede have basically gone conservative thus far and we won't see the gap till Q3. Hamilton was faster n hards and rosberg on mediums in p1. that should be interesting... and there could be rain for quali!!! oh and rosbergs car was smokey at the start of P2! all in all some very interesting things happening.
Ferrari look comparatively more competitive, especially with Kimi but he goes well here. Vettel looks off again!
Was this cos red bull didn't run well in quali mode yet? Or did the compatible long runs look better for ferrari? With the ferrari being this close after 2 sessions my other question is have we needs mercedes hold back or have their changes to protect engines negated a lot of thier speed?
Kimi's long runs looked competitive but it's all speculative at this stage. Both RBs were on pace in the long runs to. No doubt Merc running conservatively, but will they have to run like that in race mode come Sunday? Million Dollar Question
Got to hand it to Nico, he is handling the pressure better this year. Big incentive for him this weekend, if he wins, 4 second places will wrap the championship up. McLaren embarrassingly poor at Honda's home GP. Haas surprisingly good, hope they can keep it together, Grosjean deserves a better car. Saw this on the BBC site, unfortunately it doesn't show up to Malaysia and I think not showing something in Belgium against Hamilton is harsh, but it does at least highlight that until last weekend it was the poor starts rather than the engine failures that had really cost Hamilton. please log in to view this image
Super laps by both Mercs and a special mention to Kimi. The long runs look closer so should be close. WTF is going on with McLaren? 5/10ths down in sector 1, but aledgedly doesn't suit their car? I'm unsure what does, they do know this isn't an oval race series don't they and F1 tracks do have corners? Embarrassing! Lewis refusing to speak to the media and suggest that the press were unprofessional in their coverage of #snapchatgate just shows how detached he is. He obviously hasn't learnt from previous scenarios - just stop digging!
