We have been live on the mainstream nbc channel at least three times this season, (Leicester, Liverpool and Chelsea, maybe Man U too). Mainstream nbc has the in studio team discussing the game and also does the rounds across the other grounds. The other games have all been shown live but on one of the five extra nbc channels with no in studio team and just a rehash of the highlights of the first half at half time. mainstream attracts many more viewers than the extra channels.

East Europeans tend to be less portly than the average Hull and East Riding resident. Or Brits in general. Go to Venice Beach in the USA and compare the average make or female with those to be found on Hull waterfront. Or any other British waterfront.

I wish I could have met a Polish lass I had as a physiotherapist not so long ago when I was her age, 24. (Better say 21 as I met our lass when I was 22). There have been Poles, Hungarians and Bulgarians at my car wash in the last couple of years. Fair play to them, a lot had qualifications but werehere because they couldn't get a job at home and were hoping eventually to get a job using their qualifications, which include physics, mechanics, engineers. Most of them spoke better English than a lot of the monosyllabic local youths you encounter. Needless to say local youths consider the jobs beneath them due to being highly qualified with C grades in media studies,golf course management and Spicegirlsology.
The Polsh and Russian "lads" certainly seemed a lot leaner and fitter than our pot bellied lot in recent encounters.
