Ref seems a bit card happy! Wish Freeman would get a start in the league...

Big crowd for you boys tonight then.........<whistle>

I agree with Rocky that the format for this is totally not right. I would not waste my money on Wembley for it or even a game anywhere.

Although the cup means nothing it was a great outing for the team. 3 wins in a row, 2 clean sheets in a row. Getting some momentum now, bring on the weekend.

Dissapointing to see both our manager and owner defending the format of the tournment, especially andrew howard critisizing fans who dont wish to show up, myself included. I never want wycombe to lose of course, but its a pity this is the one year were actually doing well in this competition <steam>

It's not the format of the competition thats a problem with me just the B teams and I think season ticket holders should at least get tickets half price if not free I may go to the Coventry game although it's now a non event as both teams have qualified
Ps Andrew Howard is the chairman we are the owners

A good write up today in the Daily Mail & yes Andrew Howard & Gareth like this new format & we get £10,000 for a win the report says there are only two teams with lower budgets than ours.

It's clear the fans don't like this competition format and have voted on mass to not attend these games.attendences down all over the country might as well scrap it at the end of the season.as I understand the rules we have to start with 6 players from the starting 11 from the previous league game so it's not even as if we can give fringe players a game to get up to match fitness seems pointless to me .

Rocky, it isn't a 6 a side competition. That leaves us free to start with 5 non regulars and presumably substitute a few. Probably accounts for our whole squad (taking out injured players) <laugh>

Agreed, if they wanted keep the competition going with group games etc ive got no major issue (still dont think its best, but i can let it go) but the B teams aggrivate me. And yes my error regarding andrew howard, still not great to see the competition defended by him - we appear to be the only club speaking favourably of it, and some clubs are speaking very clearly against it, which is where a lot of the fans seem to stand
