This '50 posters voted against' thing is mad... not all posters will have seen that thread. Besides, I only use my mobile and polls don't even appear on my device so I'm sure others will be the same. Continuing with that logic suggests you're the person that analysed the results of the name change survey for the Allams...
What was 'bollocks' about what I posted? I thought it was reasonable as was the suggestion of appointing another mod to handle it. So, if 41 people had voted for a politics thread and 40 had voted against it - you're saying that we would have had a politics thread?
Exactly, not everyone could vote or more importantly and likely, could be arsed to vote. But in saying that, if you're declaring the use the figures from that poll as 'mad' then perhaps I'm not the only one talking bollocks.
It was 55% against/45% for, are you going to start one every week in the hope that eventually get a different result?
Ha. Where have I heard that before? I was responding to DMD asking about whether politics should be allowed on the forum. At no point have I suggested another poll (at the time did I realise that my poll was some sort of concrete 'once in a generation' plebliscite).
So...is this Politics or Local Interest? UKIP MEP Mike Hookem denies assaulting Steven Woolfe http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-37587814
