A wiser man than me once said,"It doesn't matter who you are, where you are from..... it's where you are at". And ladies and mentalmen, Swansea City this year are gracing the Premier League, the first ever Welsh team to do so.
Many of you reading this will be fans of established Premier clubs or Anglophiles who hate the idea of a Welsh club in your midst or fellow smaller teams amongst the 'Big Boys'.

This is going to be an awesome season for us after a pheonix like rise from the ashes in just 8 years and I guarantee if you come to Swansea on an away trip/night out.... you will be made more than welcome.

Do any of you fancy our chances this year cos I think we may surprise a few ????

I like the swans, but in all honesty can't see who they will take points off except the newly promoted teams, Wigan and Blackburn, you will beat us at home also - standard for newly promoted teams....

I think its good to see the first Welsh team in the PL...

I dont expect you to be rising high but you might surprise a few and stay up...all depends on injuries etc in the second half of the season for smaller squad teams.

Welcome. I've stuck Sinclair in my fantasy football team because of his exploits last season <ok>

Reckon he'll have as much license to attack freely this year?

I keep hearing this smaller team/squad argument, but the Championship has considerably more games and the neccesity for a club to have a cup run for extra finances...... not something I think we will target this year.

Relegation from the Premier is littered with small/medium teams who have had a good cup run.

Welcome lads. Like you say what a rise from the ashes. Great to have you in the Premier and I saw one or two games on the great satan last season and thought you played some great stuff. I think you may do the usual and get off to a flyer (not against us of course) then when teams work you out or the decent players in your side are chased down in the January TW you will struggle but hey ho here ye go .....
enjoy it lads and lasses ...looking forward to welcoming you to Sunderland.

The atmosphere in the ground will be partisan/hostile/exciting/passionate but we welcome all decent fans..........

but if you are talking about numpties......sorry buddy you have the wrong city..... it's our pikey neighbours Cardiff who have the soul/dole crew.
No issues down here unless you bring issues, decent away fans have always been made to feel welcome...... WEST IS BEST

Can't stand the taste of Broon either.

My reason for my Cardiff preference is that they play attractive attacking football. Yeah, so what if it doesn't pay off all the time. Just ask Blackpool fans how much fun they had last year watching them attack the like of Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal with a decent amount of bite.

Swansea will be torn to shreads if they sit back like they did in the nPC last year.

I'm a big fan of Swansea usually, but a little less gloating and a little more modesty please.

I hope you do well, but this post is a bit obtrusive.
