Talks being held with Warnock within the next 24 hours according to WOL. Warnock is the best available option for now as he at least will give us a greater chance of survival than the others mentioned.

    Warnock would ensure survival.

    What about Giggs?

Ugh, cant stand Warnock. Not a manager for the future but one for the season. He will probably keep them up but they shouldnt be in that situation anyways. Cardiff have signed a decent striker in Lambert and there starting 11 bar keeper is mid table standards. Trollope was just a terrible manager.

To me there is only one choice, and that is Warnock, and maybe if they don't clash to much Bellamy as number two, who will eventually be the next manager.

Bellamy with DJ as director of football. That would allow Bellamy to get on with the day to day management of the team. DJ could manage the board and hold Bellamy's hand. They seemed to get on when DJ was manager. Bellamy would also be a pick me up for the fans and possibly put a few more bums on seats.

    Failing that, Colin!

Colin will play pragmatic football with the squad he has and put us mid table. That would please Tan.

Bellamy would want a few new signings in January that would inject pace and allow him to field a team to play how he would want to play himself. That would please the fans.

Does Tan want safety first or to please the fans?

There is nobody better than Jones who knows the club backwards.......Always been a fan of Dave who would lose his best players season after season but still would put cardiff in contention every season with new recruits......He never got the help required from the Board even when cardiff topped the league over xmas and January window......Others strengthened for the final push and he couldn't and he could not sustain top spot......a very good manager...

At this stage I guess both we and VT want the same thing - avoid relegation.

I like DJ, but he has a habit of dropping young talent after one poor game.

Looks like we've got Warnock as Manager, according to the BBC.

Cardiff City are set to name Neil Warnock as manager following Paul Trollope's
    sacking.

Trollope was dismissed on Tuesday after less than five months in charge.

Former Sheffield United boss Warnock, 67, is expected to be appointed before
Cardiff host Bristol City in the Championship on Friday, 14 October.

Well i have to say, this is the best managerial appointment at Cardiff since the departure of Dave Jones. At least we will now play proper football.
