This reminded me of the Runcorn FA Cup match 1993 replayed at Witton Albion's ground (after the wall collapse). I witnessed Chris Hargreaves's only goal for City, at least I think he scored as it was a foggy night and could only just see the goal at the other end! TigerBase says attendance was 1131.

I was there that night. From memory, there was a good few hundred from City, if not half the crowd.

I was there too. You wouldn't say it was warm that night.

They had really warm toilets there though (big radiator). Kept popping in evetry few minutes to warm my hands on it.

Lowest for me was a Friday match in Sept 1964 at QPR. Didn't see any City supporters as Waggy and Chilton failed valiantly to get one past Peter Springett.
    We lost 1-0.

I'm proud to say I was at both games and my brother was the matchball sponsor for the Windscreens game even though he missed the first 15 mins of the game!!!! One of Simon Cawkhills team who knew my brother collared him for 25 quid as he walked past the North Rd office!!!!

I was also matchball sponsor for both of these games and it was indeed £25 a game ( person) in those days. Cawkill used to ring around the usual suspects for the unattractive games like these. I remember one such game when Bruce Rioch ( could be wrong) was in the sponsors bar to sign Dean Windass for Aberdeen after the game. It was a surprise to Deano as he thought he was going to Norwich.
