West Ham play Chelsea in the EFL cup on Wednesday the 26th (after our game)
I would be very surprised if there wasn't any trouble at that game.

I've been up to the stadium around the Olympic park and it's far too open to police at the moment, there's no way I'd take my lad to watch Sunderland there.

West Ham v Chelsea is well known to be fiesty. Hoy into the equation, hardly no cops, headless stewards, Milwall may rock up.

It could make for an interesting night.

Surely (sadly) the next step is guns?

How long till 'Football fan gunned down'?

Fisticuffs, boots, braces and Donkey jackets. May seem like a breeze mate.

Never kid ourselves that it has gone away.

It has been largely absent from football grounds for years, apart from when we play the Mags of course, and any trouble has usually between organised groups arranging fights away from stadiums.. The last thing we want is to go back to the hooligan days.

****ing hate west ham - just relegate them and that's one less place for us! We then only have to be better than 2 teams - along with getting my most hated side out of the league, it gives us a little more chance of staying up - 2 birds and all that!

Think you may find many fans of other clubs say the same about us.

Ps. As you know. I like W .Ham. my favourite London club. So no bias.

Aye I know mate - different people in similar places at different times - had you experienced what I did as a kid you'd probably feel differently - but I'd never try to shape anyones opinion as we're all different - be a boring place if everyone was a sheep wouldn't it!!

As for people disliking us - I don't give a flying **** about that either. We are Sunderland. There are only 5 better supported clubs in the Premier League and I reckon very few would attract as many as we do suffering the same **** every season that we do

I think the cowardly **** bags at the FA need to come down like a ton of bricks with West Ham or any other team that displays their total lack of control over their own fans.
Start with a hefty fine and if it continues then start docking them points.
Something needs to be done asap or it will just get worse.

Do the same to West Ham that the cricket authorities have cruelly inflicted on Durham CCC!!

the club has been runbsdly, so needed a bail out from the ecb. that resulted in telegation and docked points

All police leave will be cancelled if West Ham draw Millwall in the FA Cup.

****ing scum. closed doors games would be the first course of action, then point deductions, then expulsion from the league.
of course none of that will happen. if WHU can avoid any kind of punishment for fielding ineligible players (something that actually affects the outcome of games) the FA won't do a ****ing thing about off the field issues.
couple in the influence of their owners and former players you've got more chance of an impartial refereeing performance at the stadium of light.

which bit didn't you like? refs at sunderland or WHU's influence?

Gold, Sullivan and Brady hold massive sway - money talks. and with Brooking in control of development at the FA they won't be touched. it's not right but the FA are a law unto themselves.

ref's at SOL? yeah i'm biased i'm but still convinced most don't like us enough to be impartial. too often i see one rule for the us and another for the opposition. it boils my piss, especially with the stakes increasing year on year.

The Sunderland bit. I think all refs are ****. Victim mentality, papers over the fact that your squad is generally over the last 5 or so years, not very good.

I can't take a team seriously if they only wake up with 6 games to go, that's an attitude problem, not a ref problem, imooc.
