Well, you proved me wrong. I was thinking which smartarse would be first to say 'plane', 'jet pack', 'bicycle' or 'hovercraft'. But 'hydrofoil' passed me by. Ah well.
I was there for the 4-0...I can't recall much other than its a bloody long way...Ground is in a park ...Decent boozer about five mins away.. Can't see it being another 4-0 this time around.. Well I can, but not in our direction..
No offence to Boscombe but they have always been amongst the most boring clubs in the country. Yes right up there with Walsall and Notts Co as bland featureless clubs with bland featureless support. Possibly some Dorset coffin dodger may reciprocate those sentiments, in which case "We pay your winter fuel bills"
£30 a ticket again. It seems like this £30 cap on away tickets has actually done the opposite of what was intended. It seems every club is just going to charge £30 now, when previously some would have offered much cheaper tickets.
Shame on the clubs who've done that if true. I remember Ehab saying £30 wasn't enough/not good for football. The **** him.
It would seem that way, even West Brom are charging £30, which I'm pretty sure they've never done in the past, certainly not when I've been. Once again something that started with good intentions has been hijacked by the clubs to make more money.
It's still preferable this way, where for every West Brom where you're spending £7 more, there's a Chelsea where you're saving £20+
