Rife? Im guessing more than we think. From steroids for performance enhancing to rec drugs. You cant test everyone. How do you combat it, or is it an impossible task? ........ World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has retired from boxing after reports he tested positive for cocaine.

He's not even the best current boxer in his weight class in Britain! Fair play he became world champion (although fairly lucky against Steve Cunningham a couple of years ago) but he would probably have been trounced off Wilder and Joshua so would have ended up retiring anyway in 2-3 fights time.
I remember when he was given the decision having obviously lost to John McDermott. Joke of a boxer who's done **** all bar psyche out an utterly past it Klitschko. Wanted AJ to batter him. Shame.
Its all about opinions. The bloke maybe a total ****er. But always has a chance. He was champion. Yet you dismiss him against 2 others who may end up **** all. This thread was meant to be about drugs and sport. Used Fury as an example. Should have known better. My **** up.
An acquaintance of mine over here sells gear to a few very well known (over here) AFL players during the off season. They've got a lot of money, a lot of time and very little in their head.
I can well believe mate. Just look at any pothead/drug thread on here. These have money. Big money. Young, want fanny, love to spend. Its rife.
Anyhoo. As this thread is going nowhere on this gasping goldfish of a board. Tyson Fury, ****e? What does that say about the world of boxiing? A joke of a sport. The greats will be turning in their graves. (Exept Ali. Who is bucking 72 virgins. Happy as ****) Fury beat what was in front of him. Regardless.
Boring fighter, beat the guy who nobody else could but because he's such a ****ing bore I'm not even a bit bothered.
There are always going to be sports people who will try and beat the system, unfortunately its the honest few that suffer at the hands of the cheats. I reckon that once caught being a drugs cheat it should be a lifetime ban. Obviously there are going to be grey areas where sports persons have tested positive and if they had been approved to take a certain drug for medical reasons by the agreed authorities then they would naturally be in the clear. Never taken any enhancing or recreational drug in my life, and at 53 bit late to start, plus i don't need to, to walk to my car.
