Do you honestly think Swansea would get awarded a penalty like that?

It was not the first time a ref has robbed us against a big club in the PL this week! ...of course I can "deal with it." Supporters of smaller clubs learn quickly it's just the way things work in the PL.

 

Well I know it's easier for me to say but I agree against city you got ****e decisions against you. Our game it was pretty even with crap reffing.

Your problem against us was poor finishing. Not really the refs fault.

You should have equalised last kick of game.

 

"Swings and roundabouts" would be we both got given dodgy penalties.

The penalty was awarded aginst Rangel, the defender behind your player, and not the CB coming in to block the shot. I'm tired of players feeling a bit of upper-body contact and then pretending to trip over. Sturridge was rightly booked for it in the first half.

 

We should have been 3 up at half time, but it's not the ref's job to punish us for poor finishing.

Your penalty was no more a penalty than cities.

 

Penalty every day of the week mate................if a player is preparing to shoot and gets clattered from behind there's only one outcome

 

Where is the contact? He's about to shoot, realises our CB is about to take him and the ball, pulls out of shooting and falls over. Why do his legs suddenly stop working?

We played Chelsea a few weeks back and the ref was absolutely lambasted by the press, and even by that twerp Sutton on MOTD, for not gifting Chelsea a win. Oliver was fully aware of the consequences of not helping you guys out yesterday. Just like the ref vs City.

 

Oliver was appalling yesterday for both teams, he seemed to favour each side at certain times. The Lino's were no better.

Really sorry completely disagree, Moreno has done lots of things like that, Rangel panicked - which to me showed how important the game was to your team. We would not have been crying about the pen we would have been crucifying Moreno for doing such a dumb ass thing. He clearly shoves Firm whilst he is on the turn and knocks his chance of shot, think he ended up stubbing his foot in the turf. I would have just been really frustrated. Ftr didnt think any of the others were pens plus your goal was onside.
Think you would be nana's to ditch Guidolini for Giggs. I was never off the fence with Rodgers i really wanted him to do well but by the end (inexplicably to me) he lost the dressing room. Guidolini has not lost the dressing room so I would stick with him. You have had tough fixtures - good luck rest of season, obviously apart from Anfield game
