if gorkss does go, does that mean that perone is likely to be offered a contract? i only saw him against cesena and was less than impressed!!
Yeah I will be more than happy but not getting my hopes up until he's holding up the shirt, if the clubs are trying to sort out a swap deal for Puncheon then I guess that will take a bit more time to go through.
SH-qwerty Does this puncheon guy have quality? I know that you southampton fans think his attitude is appalling, but warnock can sort that out. Thanks
For some reason that has reminded me of what Alf Ramsey said to Rodney Marsh when Rodders was playing for England. "If you don't work harder I'm going to pull you off at half time". For the few of you who don't know the reply, Marsh reportedly said "Crikey, Alf, at Manchester City all we get is an orange and a cup of tea!" Probably never happened, but still a good story.
Puncheon blows hot and cold. World beater one minute then crap the next. He tries to do too much as well, never releases the ball when he should which frustrated the crowds constantly. Honestly cannot say how he'll do for you. He is so inconsistent...
I'm not sure how to do the quoting thing but: "That's why you pay for it! If you couldn't hear the commentary, you wouldn't know that we are being outplayed by a non-league side. Now that is why I don't pay for it.... " You've probably made a wise choice there...particularly if any of our opponents this season are half as decent as Luton! I can only assume we're still adjusting to having a massively revamped squad. Shame they haven't been given a longer pre-season to get to know one another. "@OfficialQPR QPR FC The @QPRPlayer commentary issues are finally fixed. Out of our control unfortunately. Apologies one and all. Luton 0-1 #QPR " Still doesn't seem to be working for me! Pants. I'm not sure whether puncheon would get in the team? Doesn't make sense losing one of our best defenders when we're already thin on that front. In Warnock we trust though!
Yes he does. You wont get many good comments out of Saints fans but he has been good pretty much everywhere else he has been. He was great for MK Dons before we signed him, pretty much turned around Millwall's season and seemed to do a good job for Blackpool. For some reason he never really fired it off for us and only bagged a couple of goals at the end of the 09-10 season. When he played well he was a game winner IMO, for me he was one of our most talented players. No one really knows what happened to leave him completely overlooked, but I think he will do a good job if you sign him.
@OfficialQPR QPR FC Nine changes for #QPR at the break, with Hill and Dyer the only R's players to continue at the start of the second half
@QPRChronicle Jacob Murtagh Half time changes: Cerny, Peroni, Connolly, Vaagen Moen, Ephraim, Helguson, Ageyemang - all on. Those off in next tweet. #qpr #fb
I know everyone deserves the opportunity to prove themselves preseason, but considering our "1st team" got bossed in the first half, it would of been nice to see them have another crack in the second. More valuable gametime to gel together too. Maybe Warnocks hand was forcesd by having brough so many subs with him initially. *cheers Westgate got it working now
@OfficialQPR QPR FC Heidar Helguson has an effort chalked out for offside, as #QPR start the second half on the front foot. Still 1-0 #QPR 14 seconds ago via Facebook
