Diame and Colback straight out, Mitro and Hayden it. Alternately Perez in and Mitro to come on as sub later (why isn't Perez getting any game time recently?). I want Clark to stay in centre defence, he's starting to own the position, and needs to be played regularly and he'll become a key player imo. Start with Yedlin, bring Anita on later.
It's still unbelievable to me that we have in Lascelles, Clark, Hanley and Mbemba, 4 CBs who are comfortable starting matches. It wasn't that long ago that we were perpetually one injury away from a crisis in defence.

Mitrovic to start, with Gayle. I just realised something; when Mitrovic is on the pitch, although he may be a loony he adds something without the ball; defenders have to be aware of him and his aerial presence, it's a constant thing. With the 4-2-3-1 we've been playing and Mo Diame, he adds NOTHING without the ball, because that kind of formation demands that when he gets the ball, something happens. However, he's been gash so even WITH the ball he adds nothing!! It's essentially one less striker to worry about; in the Championship, at a Diame level, the oppo can let him have the ball then just defend and it's been a piece of pi$$ so far. Our two other midfielders aren't then pushing on so it becomes easy. I'd like to see a 4-4-2 attempted today; it's that kind of game where if we play an attacking formation, we outclass the oppo in every department. If we worry about between the lines and possession, it could bite us again.
I'd a like a 4-4-2 today, with either Mitrovic or Murphy replacing Diame, and also someone replacing Dummett at left back. Yedlin must start.
Need to make sure whoever plays at FB covers wide - we were pulled apart quite a few times out there against Norwich
