Following the manner of our defeat at SJP, this match takes on a new significance and I expect a pretty frantic start to the game from both teams, with both vying to get the first goal and so hopefully gain the upper hand. The good news is that Klose has been passed fit to play and I wonder if we might see Bennett returned to the starting 11, along with Hoolahan and Dorrans probably being the player to lose out with Howson deployed in a midfield position, rather than pushing up alongside Jerome.
I'd be amazed if the match ended being a 0-0 draw!!!!
I probably won’t be able to post the starting line-up, as I’ll be on my way to watch the game somewhere in the city.
Let’s hope that we come away with all 3 points, or at worst a draw.

We will all be watching the performance of the CB's today. I believe that Klose is returning so either Martin or Bennet to play. I am sure that we need a CB as good as Klose in January along with another striker? Bet we don't get either.

Going to be interesting to see which Wolves team will turn up today. Just hope the last few minutes the other night hasn't had a lingering effect for us. A win at Wolves would be a very good result.

I think today's game will be a key game in our season. Really in terms of points to lose away to Newcastle by 1 goal is not a disaster, it is only the performance and manner of the loss that could have a serious impact on our season. We haven't really played well for most of the season, but we've still racked up the points, partly due to luck in the way in which the fixtures have worked out. A good win and the Newcastle game is just a hiccup (provided AN has the ability to learn from his mistakes), a draw and all is not lost, a defeat and AN will really have to earn his money to get us back on track.

Excellent post carrow - your last sentence sums things up perfectly!!!

Thought you might like to know that Villa are 2 - 0 down at Preston. Di Mateo in line for the sack? Wonder if McCormack is regretting his move? Newcastle winning.....................

Leeds are starting to put a few results together. Nice to see Monk starting to make things work.

Sounds like Payet just scored a fantastic solo goal. "about 30 step-overs"
