Only short highlights again lads. A very close game where we started off a bit slow but soon began to gather momentum and match it with Bristol. From where I was sat it sounded like a squeeze ya bumcheeks game with both sides having their chances on goal, and both sides not taking'em untill the 59th minute when up popped Mr Pack with his first goal of season for Bristol, which eventually proved to be the winner. Was the goal controversial stemming from a foul/not a foul on Hernandez seconds earlier? You can form your own opinions from the link below. When Hernandez had the ball popey said he turned and ran into trouble, which could mean a few things when listening on radio, he then said "surely it was a foul" I watched it a few times and saw 2 players tussling for the ball and couldn't see where any foul was committed, I think ref saw it that way too, having said that, we've had our share of getting away with foul/not a foul situations in past as well. From what I saw on highlights, Green came out and made himself smaller rather than big, the scorer popped the ball over top of him and you can see the ball was still on rise as it hit back of the net, if Green had of kept himself big the scorer would've thought twice and it may well have been a different situation. Monk it seems decided he wanted to watch the match from stands, which would've been a bit uncomfortable as apparently he was surrounded by Bristol City fans. Bristol was our first real stern test thanks to the poor performance from Ipswich, we played a good game and did some good passing but, Bristol edged it and broke their hoodoo, the trends were reversed. There are harder games in front of us that will really test us, season is still young. 2 links incase those overseas can't watch one. Monks pre match interview. Now onto Barnsley.....
