    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...ier-league-managers-took-transfer-bungs-clai/

Managers on the make ... as described by agents
    Manager 1

Ex-Premier League manager allegedly liked “bungs” in cash or deposited in a Swiss bank account. Pagliara said: “I can call [X] now and all it is with [X] is 'How much, Pino? And will it be the same Swiss bank account?’”

    Manager 2

Ex-top flight manager has had “more backhanders than Wimbledon”. Pagliara said: “This is what I hate... the guy that used to need the money but he’s had so much now that all of a sudden he’s whiter than white.”

    Manager 3

After managing several British clubs, he was allegedly fired by one for having “his fingers in the till”. Pagliara said he would get involved if “you understand that when we do deals I have to have a carrier bag with some cash”.

    Manager 4

Pagliara said of this boss with Premier League experience: “We know him very, very well. We do a transfer, [X] has winked at us and said 'Yeah, I want the player. Is there a little coffee for me, Pino?’ Yeah, course there is.”

    Manager 5

Ex-Premier League manager who, said Pagliara, would call him and say “here’s the number”, and give him details of a Swiss account. He said: “It was always numbered accounts.”

    Manager 6

A former player who now manages, he allegedly likes extra money to secure deals because he is not on a big salary at his club. Pagliara said: “[X] takes a few [inaudible] because he’s not being paid big money.”

    Manager 7

Ex-Premier League manager is another “we can put on the payroll”. If a player was transferred for £10m, “we’ll turn round to [X] and say, listen, if you take this player we’ll look after you. OK? OK, boom.”

    Manager 8

Agent Dax Price said this long-serving manager would pick three trusted players and tell them he was paying them an extra £8,000 per month, on condition that they paid him £4,000 per month each.

Manager Number 8 is quite possibly Warnock.

Manager 8 - very similar to what Puncheon accused Warnock of doing. 1,2, 3,4, 5 and 7 could all be Redknapp.

England showing the world how it always had been done. That's the problem with all this. Allardyce is not the first nor the only one, clearly. With the FA screaming about how it was illegal for Qatar or Russia to have got the WC, what do we have here with England? They let him walk to shut everybody else up and to stop the leak.

But I hope more stuff gets leaked about the corruption in British football that has apparently been running rampant.

A dark outlook for English football for the foreseeable future.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong but with players transfers and betting making huge inroads with sports, the future looks rather bleak.
A return to the good old days is all but a dream.

I use to follow the rugby league here in Oz but with so much betting before & during a game, corrupt players and alike are being caught out but it must represent only a fraction of whats happening.

It not whether you team wins anymore, it's who was the first try scorer, etc ?

In his brief statement to the press Bent Sam claims 'entrapment has won' and appears only to regret that he got caught and it cost him his job, not that he has been exposed as a venal, money grabbing, corrupt piece of ****.

    Contrition, doncha just luv it?

Just a thought but did Sam get a payoff for leaving the job! Pretty ironic if he did!

So if one is Warnock and another is Harry... (and another Pearson from what I hear)

Is any Hughes?....to complete our set!

I am sure none are Ramsey though

In the end, football is just a really big organized money grabbing racket, if you think about it.
Allardyce says he's going on holiday now "just to chill out" and reflect on this whole situation.
When I say racket I mean that these guys make humongous amounts of dosh compared to us working lads on the street living week to week on barely anything wondering if we can even pay the price of admission at our own team.
Then you've got twats like Allardyce who will never be in the ranks of the true great managers who actually win trophies year after year, but instead just have mediocre careers that span a whole lifetime of just achieving the OK results all while having a lap of luxury in their personal lives with the milllions they made from it - - and this time he got caught with his hand in the one too many of those jars.

It's really sick. He's now off for a 5-star holiday probably on a private jet and away from the crowds in some private remote resort or location with money he stole from the people. If I were one of the pilots or hotel managers and happened to be an England supporter and saw him come around I would kick him out- but money talks, eh? So he gets away with just a smart statement wrapped up in agreement with lawyers so he can just scurry away without too much stress. Oh the hypocrisy.

If he did, hopefully it was only a quid for each day of service.

It's always been a racket Yappy, there have always been betting and transfer scams etc. People like Jim Gregory were born crooked. It's just that now the sums of money involved are so vast, the fans are so conscious of paying inflated prices for everything to stuff these ****ers' mouths with gold, and the majority of players and managers so isolated from the fans, that rather than thinking 'he's got a short career and is just trying to look after his family' we think 'these greedy twats really need to be taught a lesson'.

I doubt Allardyce will face any serious penalties, he obviously won't feel guilt or shame, but at least he can be made to feel very uncomfortable every time he steps out in public when there is an Englishman present.

Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp: "It's a sad day, sad for Sam as well. I'm sorry for what's happened. It's probably a lifetime dream of his to be England manager and to end so quickly is unbelievable really. I'm really sorry because now people will be poking around in my private deals, err affairs, again, and as everyone knows I can't read or count, so any money resting in any of my offshore accounts has got there without my knowledge, by some form of banking magic. But I earned every penny of it. Bobby Moore, he was a great player wasn't he? Crouch and Defoe up front a little'un and a big'un. What do you mean don't change the subject? Am I being paid for this? Paolo Di Canio, what a character. Fascist? I wouldn't know anything about that. When I grew up during the war there was none of that sort of thing, and if there was Ronnie and Reggie would have sorted it. Do you like this watch? Yours for a tenner, I've got another 200 in the boot, don't you ****ing call me a wheeler dealer......." and so on ad nauseum until global warming does us all a favour and submerges Sandbanks under 300 ft of sea.
