Couldn't happen to a better brain dead beaut!! You could count on the Telegraph to do whatever they could to get rid of a working class northerner (north of Watford Gap anyway) who is far too common to be England manager, what next, that hideous Redknapp fellow!?!?!:emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::smiley-finger007::smiley-finger007::smiley-finger007:

Does he go down as the best England Manager ever? I mean he has a 100% record, with no goals conceded <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

I seem to remember his brother being 'investigated' for dodgy transfer dealings, his brother is a football agent, which Fat Sam was also involved in. So its no surprise he's up to this sort of stuff and surely the FA knew of his dodgy past.

To be fair he lasted over 60 days.

I had a shorter stint as England manager playing FM2014.

I took the job and then immediately decided I didn't want it and quit. Fat Sam lasted longer in the job than me.

Mweh...I don't buy this "entrapment" crap.

They didn't make him talk about dubious advising. They didn't make him slag off players or coaches...

He's not ten years old having a lolly pop waved in his face.

And as others have alluded to...he's clearly had form or plenty of unconfirmed stories knocking around that the telegraph thought they had a good chance of getting him. I mean they didn't try this on Roy or Capello...why? They wouldn't have been such Dodgey greedy bastards to sniff a deal...

He's scum, the football world knows it, journos have known it and these guys showed it...

It's seedy and unpleasant but when looking for rats you have to swim in the sewer....

I never said Sam was a saint. He's a twat and deserved what he gets.

But why do we think it's acceptable for tabloids to attempt to trap people?

How do you know they didn't try it on Woy or Capello?

How many innocent people do they attack before getting their exclusive?

Imo if there are no watchdogs... would you trust the fa to be this? Then 99% of scandals would never come to light...

Its just plain necessary cos theres no transparancy and no open checks and balances.

Keep probing i say. Catch a player or two.

    Alan Shearer -
"I'm angry, I'm sad, I'm staggered at the misjudgement from a guy who said this was his dream job," the ex-England striker told BBC Radio 5 live.
"It's incredible and a catastrophic misjudgement by Sam and his advisers."

If they go along with it then they aren't innocent, and if they say they don't want any part in it then they are innocent and will be left alone.

I could understand your point if they were taking advantage of someone but Sam Allardyce is a rich guy who was clearly being greedy and wanted more money by breaking the rules.

Let's not forget if we didn't have newspapers like this investigating things people like Lance Armstrong would've gotten away with doping and his false achievements would never have been discredited.

It's called "investigative journalism", very few do it these days, many hacks either cut and paste or just make **** up. This is what they use to do in their heyday. This is what they should be doing, proving their story is true, and not just writing about a tip off.

Remember when Steve Kean called Allardyce a crook in that youtube video of him in a bar? He may have had a point <whistle> #crook

Shame the fa is still a power house in the sport.

Quick question as I don't really understand how it works.

Fit and proper test? Does this apply to managers getting England job. And if so doesn this make even more of a mockery of the fa and their rules.

Too many greedy batard in the game now days and unfortunately they are usually behind the fa who make the rules up to suit.

We have allegedly seen eufa and fifa caught out. Isn't it about time proper questions are asked about the sham that is the fa?
