Really it all started with the Sunderland attitude to Johnson. They clung on to his innocence until the very last minute despite all the evidence, and some even defend him still. I think Newcastle fans are fairly bitter that he was a huge part of us going down and them staying up when he should not have been playing at all, so Newcastle fans bring up the shocking apologetic stance of many Sunderland fans to feel better about it. I have always tended to stay out of the debate but I will correct outright lies, some things are so much more important than football. The Cisse retort just doesn't hold up in any way, shape or form.

I think a lot still humour him because he's "one of the regulars" but a lot had started calling him out on his embarrassing views the last time I had a proper look on there board (admittedly quite a long time ago). EDIT: I also always like Monty and thinks he gets a bum rap, his main crime is that he doesn't know how to use a computer so doesn't get his notification/replies to posts in my opinion.
Apart from drama, you aren't missing much. There are some good posters on there but others are just a waste.
