    Well, Cheltenham are a lot of people's picks to struggle this year, but they seemed to pick up a few points last, and I see them as lower-mid table obscurity rather than any danger. Gillingham? Probably depends on the start. Confidence counts a lot at this level, so stringing a few early wins together would take pressure off and let the new team build. A propros of which, I see the home side shading a pretty nervous (not that fun to watch) encounter by the odd goal in three. I used to manage Cheltenham on an old FM game; I won the UEFA Cup 3 times in a row, but the board wouldn't expand the ground so we weren't allowed into the Premiership. Hopefully Whaddney will show up. He's sound.

    It is guesswork for the first 6 games or so but this league looks competitive. Last year most people forecast what they wanted to happen. This year it looks like most people are forecasting what they think will happen. I am surprised there are not plenty of 0-0s which is a favourite first game score but i reckon if Gills can manage an early goal they will cruise it.
