Well we got talking about the old days and I found out she was divorced and had been a beauty therapist for the past 20 odd years blah blah blah. Then she tells me her little brother who I also knew was a top model in the USA. I looked him up and sure enough he's a multi-millionaire living in L.A. and knocks about with Eric Clapton a lot.
My first ever record purchase was made at Tempos. I graduated to Sheridans in my teens. Bought a lot of vinyl from there.
We used to go to Poppins on the odd occasion on a Sunday afternoon, when my folks had shut their shop.

Yes I visited all 3 often as part of a balanced 'Ull diet I can't remember the Anlaby chippy (despite that being the one I grew up closest to) Duke's was the Wolfreton Rd one - I'd regularly cycle to Duke's or Bernadette after footy training with Springhead
