Did he not relocate onto Anlaby Road near Tigers Lair very briefly? Think he got busted for summat unusual: sex or arms related?
Thanks for all the great memories. I would add... Brown's bookshop and Kaye's tools both on George Street. Pools Corner's west side equivalent, Sellit'n'soon(?). Little second hand M/C shop on Anlaby road, opposite side to programme shop. Classics he had through there would be worth millions now. Another second hand M/C shop on Spring Bank near Walton St. Second hand record shop under town hall?
We used to get a lot of our school uniform from there................once went to school dressed as a WW2 Japanese Admiral (8 years old I was)
What about all the old cinemas - I remember Carlton Cecil Criterion ABC - seem to remember there was one in East Hull near Longhill - Priory closed before I remember
Trips to bradford ice skating. Didnt even bother on the ice i was **** at it. My mate slashed a lasses wrist when he skated over her after she fell. The best bit was the bus trip back...
I went loads of times to Arena and went to Blisters a few times. Couldn't roller skate to save my life, I just went to try and look cool in the latest threads I'd bought from Prem.

Just bumped into Tom Martin, owner of Arco. The shop was called Asbestos, with 'rubber co limited' written underneath and one of the family took it over and signed a licensing deal with Intersport to sell sportswear that wasn't generally available in the UK.
