    I'll never complain about their dodgy stadium deal again*. Great value for money for us Southampton taxpayers.

    I listened on the radio so I can't say much, but one thought for now. This was Claude's biggest tactical test, we hadn't won away yet and they were dangerous if we allowed them to get into their game. What an incredible performance from him. He will probably float on a cloud all the way to Israel.

    All the write ups/MOTD will be about them, and let the opposition soak up the attention for a long while yet. You'll get better analysis on here anyway.

    Just listening to the radio programme which indirectly inspired this website. Yes, I'm bothering to have BBC 606 on in the background. I decided to send two texts in the end which I've no doubt will not be read out as they are critical of the amount of time SFC get on the programme. I think we've been mentioned twice by Ian Wright, giving over obviously uninformed opinions, after a good 10-20 minutes of WHU. Since then it has been wall-to-wall Liverpool, ManU.

    Is it any wonder Saints fans don't bother to ring the programme.?

    Nice analysis from Henry on sky. Said we made the game look easy, even if West Ham were poor.
    Praise for Hoijbjerg in nullifying the threat of Payet.
    Redknapp thinks VVD can be whatever he wants to be and can play for Madrid/Barca etc

    In fairness, the genuine story is West Ham at the moment, not Saints. I'm happy with us ticking along under the radar, as we often tend to do.

    Somebody commented that it was like Pele doing a similar thing, but Pele failed. I figure you have to know your football history pretty well to get that comment, after all this time. Back in the 1970 World Cup [I think against Czechoslovakia], Pele received a through ball and without touching it, dropped a shoulder to put off the on rushing keeper, but still managed to miss the goal. Hence, Dusan was like Pele, only successful.
