So here we are again. Walking away from the stadium there were loads of people proclaiming that Moyes has to go. Now I know that things get said in the heat or the moment but talking to other fans on twitter and it seems some have already written him off.

Personally I think we need to give him time. Just wondering what people on here think.

I think he's rubbish. He has taken a team with mid table form, a good team morale and a solid defence and ruined it. His style of football is reminiscent of the crap Martin O'Neil played. We are rubbish to watch. No entertainment and he seems to drain the optimism right out of anyone. By the time I've heard a pre game press conference from him I'm depressed. He seems dour and uncaring. His voice is as monotone as Brian Robson ffs.

He states things don't change and we were always relegation material, why did he take the job? The club is a busted flush. Sack him? What's the point we'll still have the same players being hopeless. Of course he needs time, I'm just pointing out that I expected more from him but he seems a beaten man. His transfers have hardly been inspiring. Stick with him though, tired of his excuses though

In. Everything about this shows how us fans are trapped in Short's vicious circle too. Who would do better? It's the quality of squad that's the problem. That's down to investment. That comes from the very top. Can't believe questions are being asked like this already.

Moyes needs two things to make this club work. 1. Time. 2. Investment. Looks like he's got neither. :emoticon-0137-clapp

This season has been as infuriating as usual but I don't place much blame at all with Moyes. We seem to be flirting around some decent performances and results and I think that in time we'll get them.

Not even a question at this point. I'd rather he take us down than we sack him, stay up by the skin of our teeth start like **** again, have players the next manager doesn't want, struggle to get them off the wage bill, be unable to invest in the squad... So on and so forth.

I'd much rather he kept us up and keep building but I'm sick and tired of the repetitive nature of our inadequacy.

Too early for this yet, I think. I honestly believe, given four or five years, Moyes will make us an Everton. I just wonder what division of the Conference we'll have to go to in order to give him those years.

Frankly, I'd give the earth for Allardyce back.

I say Keep Moyes even if we go down, we cant be changing Managers to keep us in the League, its not Moyes fault its been happening for the last few years staying up by the skin of our teeth, the cause is not so much investment but getting top players to come to Sunderland, I am sure the Money would be available if the Top players wanted to come, I doubt if Guardiola could do better with the squad we have.

It's too soon f R turning attention to Moyes, but I will say I strongly dislike the Fella.

I dislike some of my staff but if they bring me results it's cush, same applies to handsome Hamish.

No matter who was Manager I'd be tempted to say, 'keep him'.

Our Musical Chairs approach with the Managers job has made us, quire rightly, a laughing stock.

Moyes has a proven Prem track record. Who do we expect to get who will be an improvement?

Their are only a few ways to get a successful Premier League Side.
1 - Buy one. (Not I feel an option that Mr Short would consider).
2 - Get lucky. (I thought we had with Sam - but no).
3 - Give a competent Manager enough time to build a team, (EVEN if this involves a relegation).

I'll happily read any better suggestions.

You know, Moyes tried to sign Kessie from Atalanta, and we'd have got him had he played one more game for Ivory Coast.

He was a great spot and has blown up this season he's gonna go for about £40million in January to a super club.

He'd probs have got injured here like.

Has to be kept Imo, even if we are relegated, he can only play the cards in front of him but he needs to stop the tense stuff and loosen up more, currently he looks like the bloke who nicked a hub cap and knows he left fingerprints..

Getting rid of him imo would again deflect away from the real real culprit of our demise for the last few years..<ok>

In for me - after we won on Wed he seemed to lighten up.

We shudda won yesterday and played good in the 2nd half.

If he gets time the defence will get sorted!!
