This sale of the club has become an absolute f....ing joke. Now the offering of the managers job has turned into another merrygo round. Im surprised that Phelan is still with the club. He is being treated abysmally. If we are a Premier League club then act like one. Give the man a decent financial contract that is equal to the average Premier league contract. Doesn't matter that it is his first job as a manager. Fact is no one else wants the job whilst they are in charge. I firmly believe that if they don't make a fist of selling this club in the next few weeks, Phelan will walk out because it is quite obvious that they are stalling him. Anyone who says he wont get another job is joking. He is obviously an experienced coach and after what he has done in the last weeks since SB left he will have no trouble. This club is fast becoming a pariah with these two remaining as owners. Its is getting a really negative reputation because of them . The way they got rid of SB by lying to him, the two failed takeovers, the obvious fact that no one wanted the managers job even though they were supposedly offering silly terms (to Coleman,plus the heavy buy out clause) has come home to roost. Every time you watch MOD someone is making negative comments. Not about the temporary manager or the players, but the herberts in charge of the club. They say they are men of honour, what a joke. They don't know the meaning of the word. I havnt been this season and definitely wont until they have gone, like many of the old school. I am missing it terribly, but I cant support these idiots who lack moral principals the way they have divided and treated supporters with their eccentric ways. I don't personally believe they have any intention of accepting any offers until next summer. Whatever position we finish, they will take the money and run. They will get a good sum from the Premier pot even by finishing bottom. The fact that they will get this will counter balance the cost of relegation and they will be able to take a hit of the price of the club. I very much hope I am wrong, I want to see them go as soon as possible for the benefit of everyone. I miss my trips up north, seeing a lot of mates etc, but I think I am a principled person and I just will not go all the time they are still the owners, certainly not to home games. It means I spend my football time watching non league football at Bognor Regis Town and actually thoroughly enjoy it. Lets hope they are gone pretty soon and lets hope the damage they have inflicted on the fans will all be over and a good few fans return to the fold.

Boycotting attending was a powerful statement in the 1990s when were skint and the club relied almost exclusively on gate receipts, but that era of football is gone and that economic lever has very little power now. It's not the powerful statement the boycotters intend it to be unfortunately. It's more of a statement about the boycotter and his/her feelings. The 'old school' you mention attended in the late 70s/early 80s and then again in the 90s, just when most of Hull 'boycotted' in protest at the **** football on offer. They were not thrilled about the chairman (Remember the Action Group?) or the manager, but the point was to support the club and the colours, when most sane people had baled out for the rugby or LFC. No one rubberstamped Fish, Dolan, Chris Needler etc but it is OUR club whoever by a quirk of fate or wealth happens to be the steward of it. Time to end the boycott I reckon and get behind the team.

The sad fact is these two pair of imbeciles are systematically turning everyone involved in the football world against them .. their pig headed attitude is a laughing stock .. while their greed knows no bounds .. Phelan has done a terrific job in trying circumstances however there is only so much a human being can take .. and this constant stalling on a potential contract may lead to him walking .. the short period in charge has only enhanced his brief cv as a manager and there'd be many a club look to take him on .. on the other side of the coin who in their right mind would want to work for these two clowns. I'm an optimist by heart and hope that one of the bidders can get the deal across the line but the constant delays are sending worrying signals that they may want to hold onto us for this season and bleed the funds .. the only reason they delved into their pockets before the transfer deadline was due to their being a distinct possibility the club was going to the Dai's.. it had nothing to do with any allegiance to OUR club. For the love of God just go .. and let us enjoy CITY again.
No chance at all mate. The old school were then as I was and it wasn't just the 70s/80s and ninetys when we were doubly shyte. I was there in the early 60s and still seemates from those awful times.I kept going when we were bottom of Div 4. I didn't boycott then because at the time, what anybody since have thought, the owners as a rule genuinely thanked the fans for being there. The fans may not have showed it then but they were die hards even though the football was dreadful. I have principals as do a hell of a lot more who are doing the same as me. It isn't anything to do with money, it is what they have done to their customers. Do you really need me to list them again as it has been done to death on here? Safe to say that they have divided supporters like no other owner has done at this club before. Yes, we have been against owners before and stood as one. This time it is different and my view is that IT IS RIGHT TO MAKE A STAND HOWEVER ONE FEELS THEY NEED TO DO IT.
Having supported the club since the late 60s I know exactly where you're coming from .. having experienced Chris Needler then the Lloyd Hinchcliffe Buchan eras it feels that what the Allam's are doing is worse then those owners reigns .. what saddens me is they started so well but since the HCC fall out have behaved like spoilt kids not getting their own way and taking their bat and ball home.

Someone who was a season ticket holder and who has come up from Portsmouth for about 4 decades like he has deserves respect and doesn't need lectures from others, most of whom , if any, won't have shown the same level of commitment, about whether they should stop boycotting games.
