Thanks guys, really looking forward to a good days racing and fingers crossed he can put his problems behind him and put in a good run. He has always needed his first run after a break and a real shame we couldnt get one into him but you never know and its arguably a weaker race than last year so lets see.

As a Brentford fan a very good time to be seeing me old mukka to talk about the Championship!!

Very best of luck with Squire today lads, hope he belies the absence from the track and, as always most importantly, comes back safe and sound.

I can imagine the old keypad at Chuckle Towers is thoroughly aglow as Sir Barney hammers away at a write up on the 4.40 at Worcester. We have former Mr. Henderson inmate Newsworthy making his debut for Tom Symonds (but we all know horses rarely improve for leaving Seven Barrows). Also the 11th richest man in Wales has a runner, as does the forum's favourite resident of Wiltshire and patronage of Barbury Castle (which is up for sale BTW - perhaps the new Chuckles abode?) Mr. King. As if that wasn't enough, the lovely Dan Skelton has one in there, ridden by the equally lovely Harry. The race should be renamed "The Chuckles With a Capital C Novices', I say Novices', Hurdle".

Good luck with squire today lads,I'm quite confident of his chances. He's got his ground and distance he loves hq and the op will be a positive I think. It's gonna be a long day last race on the card, but God willing you'll be in the owners and trainers popping corks later
    Cheers.

Good Luck with Squire today lads and let's hope, first and foremost, he comes home safe and sound and that he gives you a day to remember.

I see he's being backed early this morning (into as low as 9/1, having been 20/1 earlier). Is this the weight of the forum's money??

BATHOS will be in the mix. I think he and Storm King have been plotted up for this.

Bathos wouldn't surprise me one bit being a Johnston horse and after so many disappointing runs so far

Good Luck with Squire, gents; Timeform think you're in with a chance.
I agree with you and have plumped for BATHOS in the compo.

Also out up by Hugh Taylor(ATR) this morning

    5.55 NEWMARKET
    1pt each-way SQUIRE (16-1 bet365, Betfred, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power)

SQUIRE should run a big race and makes each-way appeal in the Silver Cambridgeshire at Newmarket today (5.55).
The case for him is simple – he goes very well here and is well handicapped on the pick of his course form.
He was runner-up in this race last year from a 3lb higher mark, and had won and then finished second in handicaps here in 2015.
The ground is in his favour and his mid-season break might have been designed to help produce him fresh and well for this race.

    Best of Luck Guy's <ok>

There are a couple at Haydock that take the eye. ( someone else took my eye and I just had to put her on as my new pic... Gosh! )

1.40 Brandon Castle, dropping in to 0-70.
3.55 Well Done, SDS in with a cracking shout here.

I'm also drawn to the profile of Box Office in the 2.55 at Worcester. Showed promise over hurdles but yet to fulfil potential chasing; now dropped a further 6lb. If anyone can persuade this horse to progress, Richie Mc can. Some small change on that e/w I think. :emoticon-0100-smile :emoticon-0148-yes:

SDS has a bag full of rides at Newcastle this evening hat are well fancied, so might take a look at that later too. ( he must be in a helicopter from Haydock ).

Good Luck all who play and massive, massive stacks of luck to SQUIRE - come on !!!!

    Today's fancies will be:

    1.55 PROMISING RUN
    2.30 JOURNEY
    4.50 CENTURY DREAM
    5.25 BARSANTI

In the 3.55 Hay I like LOOTING due to the fact he is on a 3 timer and a high draw to work from. Around 9/1 can go ew.
