It is impossible to say how well handicapped RR is today, I am sceptical about it but I can't bet against it either. The one that caught my eye was the Jonjo runner who looks massively unexposed and could be above his mark. Add in the Mccoy drive and I was very tempted!

Odddy <laugh> Not surprised it used to finish tailed off - the jocks used to think they were on Starspangledbanner the way they used to set off on her, knackered after 1m

RV - they treated her too much like SSB for my liking - the parachutes they needed to slow her down created massive problems for the other runners......

Heard a bloke on the radio today saying he went for a parachute jump, his first. After a few hours training, he was taken to 5000 feet. The lady asked him if he needed a push, he didn't want to look like he had no nads, so chose to jump. As he left the plane, he heard her yell "No, no, your chute......." her voice trailed away as he fell. He thought he was dead. A second later the static line snapped open his chute and he floated safely to mother earth. The lady beat him to the ground and was there to meet him when he landed. He was furious. "What the **** was that all about?" She said that she just wanted to make the jump more memorable. It was something she'd learned bungee jumping. <laugh>

Vety good Cyc. Did you hear about the amateur scientist in sweden who phoned a radio station to say he was in the middle of his attempt to split the atom. I think he said he was using a kettle FFS. He couldn't then understand why his house was suddenly invaded by the police and Fire brigade!

Reminds me of the story of 2 gays talking, one telling the other how he's been parachuting with a group of soldiers. "Ooooh, all them butch squaddies, must've been lovely". "Yes" replies the first one "on the first jump I was the last one to go and I was terrified. Then this big butch sergeant in the plane took out his member and said if I didn't jump he would stick it up my arse". "Ooooooh" replied his friend "did you jump?" "Not much" replied his mate.

Good afternoon all,

3 i fancy today are:

3.30 Brighton, Clear ice. Won there the other day and has a low draw again today with Fallon on board. 8/1 good e/w bet i think
4.30 Brighton, Whitby Jet. Placed alot recently and with Fallon on board i think will go in today. Currently 7/2
4.10 Lingfield, Waseen Faris. Won well by 8 lenghts on debut. Further improvement to come and could take this. Currently 11/4

Good luck all today

2 bets today
3.20 Worcester Schindler's Gold
6.15 Tipperary Group Therapy (nap) - very confident Sole Power will not be fit enough to win with a group 1 penalty. Murtagh booked. Barron isn't in Ireland for the potatoes.

Someone mentioned David Linvingstone in yesterday's thread - he's my horse to follow. Will hose up in a group 1 later this year.

Very disappointing days racing today, methinks, and for that reason must advise that its a 'no bet' one for me today. 5 cards of nothing more than abject mediocrity in my opinion.

Still at least we’ve got the ‘Shergar Cup’ to look forward to tomorrow...
