If theyre worth 2 billion, as reported, then 6m goes into that 333.333 times, divide £25,000 by 333.333 and you get £75. Obviously the 2bn is there net worth and the £25,000 is an annual wage but as these super rich don't really have annual salaries ive had to do it that way.
It still isn't a comparison though. Net worth includes money tied up in other things which you would have to dispose of to get hold of.
Well, its not - as you say yourself it's their net worth, not their salary. So it would be a bit like if you owned a home and car and stuff, all of which came to a value of £25k, and someone stole your TV (which was worth £75) that you had just bought and had spent 1 month trying to buy.
I know Sir Ken Morrison, he's a billionaire and he's undoubtedly the tightest **** I've ever met. Genuinely - he spends money like he's on benefits. I guess that's how he's become a billionaire.
He spends money on cheap booze, cigarettes, takeaways and large screen TVs then says he can't afford to buy school uniforms for his kids?
