Match Day Thread Derby V Liverpool - League Cup

We need the squad up to pace to I would expect players that Are fighting for a first team position to play so Karius, Can, Origi, Klavan, outside of those I have a feeling Erajia will get a game.

 

Agree with fullbacks and keeper, and maybe a start for Origi

Karius to get a game, maybe give Matip and/or Lovern a rest..
Stick Moreno in at LB..
Like to see Grujic and Can play too, the rest made up of the regular first team players..
That's the way I'd go!

 

Problem with playing Grujic is he will smash the game so much we won't get an accurate indication of how all the other new players are doing. Moreno would look #worldclass

 

Is Ojo injured still?

 

I will bet that we will see much much more of the first team play than this

Can might play yes... that could occur but equally he might come on for 1/2 hour.

I will just be a bit shocked if we see wholesale changes.

In other words, you may be a cult hero but I don't give a ****e..
I've found my preferred CB pairing and only way you're getting in is if one/both are suspended/injured!
Enjoy bench life Mama, that's even if you make it to the bench in most squads.
Does appear that whatever was said and done can't be undone so easily..

 

Probably Sakho was unfortunate with what happened to him, but he compounded matters
when the club were in US.He needed to be thought some lessons.

Looks like it, Jurgen, he's not a man to cross multiple times..
We have Matip, Lovern, Ragnar and Lucas + Gomez (once fit) avilavle to play CB positions.
Think he'll stick with that until 2017/18 season and buy a CB in that summers transfer window.

 

Or it could mean that Sakho isn't match fit and may need few games in under 21s before he gets closer to the first team.
