After we play Fulham twice we also play Leeds at home a week on Tuesday.

Should LJ rest a few to keep them fresh for Saturday and then Leeds in midweek?

Frankie probably needs to play - I would also start with Eklund, Moore, O'Dowda, Korey, Brownhill, Engvall & Wilbraham.

There are 2 benefits to this - some of the squad get a rest, but also some of the "fringe" players get a game where they can prove they are worth a starting place.

Definitely- I would see it as an opportunity to keep everyone happy and also send out a message to those that need a reminder that there is plenty of competition for places.
I would rest Tammy, played like a hero yesterday. He was clearly struggling with his ankle for the last 10 mins but battled on knowing we had used all our subs-Keep Fielding on Tuesday, but needs immediate improvement on his distribution and speed of thought-Good chance to use Matthews and Korey ahead of league games.
Use Ekstrand as well. Clearly not match fit yet and was way off the pace- LJ good as admitted so-

Be interesting to check out Moore (good name !) and Engvall. Always great in the imagination, but reality is the best for knowing your own players

as always a catch 22, do we want to progress and hope for a top draw against one of the top prem teams, bringing in lots of money, OR try resting a lot and chance getting beat?

If fit maybe roll out Smith, Engval, Brownhill, O'Dowda etc and attack the bejesus out of 'em

Interesting this one - it's a trial run for both teams because we play them again after a few days.

Trouble with playing Engvall, Mathews is they are just coming back from injury, could be too soon and create another Mathews situation and pulls up again.
Smith I don't know if others saw it, but Wednesday's third goal he pulled up on the 18 yard line allowing their player more time. His hands was on his knees well before the goal went in. So he could possibly be injured again.
Moore should be an option, but Elkstrand needs to build on fitness so probably 90 minutes might be too long for him.
We are getting a good squad but we really want a fit squad and making too many changes could hurt us in the long run.

Depends how much the Manager wants it I guess.

After recent mistakes and the gaining of just 2 points out of a possible 9 when well placed, I think I'd be saying forget the LC and lets get the league form back on track and cut out all these stupid and costly errors !

This is a double sided sword

go into the game with "reduced" squad and lose = more negativity!
go into game with full squad and win = more positivity (both are reversible)

I would go into the game with the full squad .... however ... I would keep 3 on the bench so starting with a changed starting line up of 3 .. play it by ear if we go behind, but should we get a couple goals up mid way into second half use 2 or 3 more "subs" thus resting the 3 main squad players for 90 mins and 3 more for sub time! .. I think we need to go into this to win . but also rest a couple from starting ....

agree with that, given that your really not gonna make any money from this trophy unless you make the quarter or semis then make changes most definetely rest abrahams and flint, still be there no matter what team we play.

Def give Moore a start, also Patterson and any of the Scandinavian crew who are fit. Restings for Flint, Abrahams, O'Neil, and (dare I say it) Tomkins. I would suggest resting Magnuson, but I fear we would get a pounding without him marshalling the defence.
Moore and Magnuson = The taste of things to come ?
