Anything today and the next 2 games will always be a bonus. The main thing is to keep battling and keeping morale going. Disappointing to concede 4 but, after all the effort the lads have put in over the last 5 weeks, they need us to stick by them when afternoons like this happen.
dont tell me............. bring back SB? ..............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................silly ****
Not only the penalty save, he also made others that kept us in it for a while. Unfortunately when you're a keeper, minor errors can often prove costly.
Let's face it, if we were offered in July that we'd be in the top ten after playing the champions Leicester, Man Utd, Arsenal and away games at Swansea and Burnley. We'd have ripped the hands off.
The a Yak is a brilliant shot stopper but still our No 2. Phelan knew we needed another keeper so went out and got one.
What on earth was the ref doing waving play on when Cech brought down Mbokani? Thankfully the linesman was on hand. Cech at last man should also have had a straight red. Welcome to the Premier League bias. Cazorla was on a yellow and was twice spoken to by the ref, I thought he was lucky not to have had a second yellow. Really poor from the officials today and a real lack of consistency.
big club protection is still around which begs he question.. how the hell did Leicester win the PL? it's been done to death but their achievement is even more outstanding if you factor this in.. you need a Vardy who's going to frighten keepers into conceding penalties
It didn't. Very disappointing. There was a bit of chanting after a couple of minutes, when people noticed it was on the screens, but most didn't seem to know anything about it.
I was behind it Didn't look unstoppable from where I was But that was just first thoughts...I could be wrong And if he starts next game that's fine by me, I just don't think he will
Although I'm about 4,000 miles from the KCOM, I have the benefit of a large screen TV and several replays including slow motion and in my opinion (and the pundits including Craig Forest) Jak could have done better on the first and fourth goals. However, he made several very important saves including the penalty.
What about the Livermore penalty and sending off? It didn't look deliberate to me. The ref had set a precedent, aside from the fact he wasn't going to award anything. The ref waved play on, it was the linesman that intervened.
Livermore deemed deliberate. I'm not saying that it was but both decisions were correctly punished depending on interpretation
Players on the bench who should have started. Livermore handball was deliberate. Ref was a ****. We move on.
