Danny Simpson has recovered from his injury but might not be risked same as Nampalys Mendy and Jeff Schlupp. Everyone else is fit and available so here is what i would go with

No reason to change the team from last night unless there are fitness concerns given the schedule.

 

Its Chelsea in the cup after which would see the whole team rotated anyway

 

Same team as yesterday. If we go for it from the off like yesterday we could hopefully put ourselves in a situation the same whereby we can take players off earlier for a rest. Much better than bringing them on to chase a game

 

Agree we can't afford to lose this one when we have Chelsea, Man U and Porto as the next 3, lets get some momentum

 

Why wasn't Okazaki even on the bench vs Club Brugge?

 

No space, I imagine.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him start against Burnley.

 

I'd quite like to see us start Musa instead of Vardy for this one, possibly alongside Okazaki. But other than that, same team should play if possible. Not sure we even broke a sweat yesterday so I'd hope fitness levels are ok.

 

We lost against Hull who only had 7 odd senior players - lets not chop and change too much.

 

Claudio Ranieri has confirmed Danny Simpson is fit as is Jeff Schlupp

He said Nampalys Mendy needs another week

 

It's weird that we have a 3pm Saturday game after a Wednesday night champions league game

 

We didnt travel too far and didnt over do it in the week. Ranieri made smart changes by bringing off Vardy, Slimani and Mahrez

We still have players like Gray, Schlupp, Musa, Okazaki, King, Kapustka and Ulloa to come in if he wants to freshen up

 

we really do have some great options. Looking forward to seeing more of Kaputska

 

We should be able to field a full strength side against Burnley, then rest the team for the Chelsea cup game.

 

...scary... we're getting like one of them proper. 'big' clubs ...

 

Scary thing is, our owners are only just getting started. It´s going to be an interesting period for LCFC. Lovin it.
