Excellent piece, I was really worried when he ploughed into the most against Man Utd, glad it was unfounded!

Had a knee injury all season at Norwich... played on.

How did he pass his medical?!

Another doom laden purchase. That turned out alright unlike the others!!

I remember being slightly disappointed when we first got him, I would have preferred Redmond at that time and I don't think his asking price would have been too different to Snoddy's, but he is seriously making me eat my words now. If we didn't have statistically the best defender in Europe at the moment he would be by far our stand out player right now. He obviously lacks pace but he is a great teasing dribbler, wins umpteen free kicks with that big butt of his, his set pieces are unbelievably consistent and he seems to be relishing the task of being our main creative force now Diame is gone. He also has a real eye for a great through ball, he barely played any under Bruce and I think that's because most of our attacking play was out wide under him, I like how Phelan seems to be encouraging the team to play through the middle more.

The club nursed him very slowly and carefully back from a career-threatening injury, gradually increasing his playing time and responsibilities, and he played with his knee taped up until the beginning of this season.

Well done Robert Snodgrass certainly not somebody who could ever be accused of living in a Premier League bubble
