http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/ian-wright-reveals-lost-respect-8845875 Considering how he was that outraged by racial insults that he marched Evra around the inside of Anfield to tell the officials and the press three different stories.
Fergie believed Schmeichel (funnily enough like...) so the two things aren't really the same. Unless, of course, there is evidence of (a) Schmeichel saying what was claimed and (b) Fergie knowing Schmeichel said it. Only thing that really bugs me with these things is that it only gets air time because it's race related. Had Schmeichel called him a "bald bastard" or "specy four eyed bastard" nothing would have been said. They're all just characteristics. Edit: plus, this was twenty years ago ffs
Like every manager Sir Alex Ferguson will like to defend his player in the public when he knows that his player is wrong. Bringing race to it is totally wrong. Wenger always say "he didn't see it" when it involves his player.
I don't think lack of hair or wearing glasses would hold people back from getting a job (unless it requires having hair/good vision), though. Black people have been discriminated, and are still being discriminated against, for the colour of their skin. There was a video experiment I watched a little while ago where they had people of different profiles trying to cut a bike chain and take the bike. A white guy does it people mostly walked past not saying anything because they must've thought he had just forgotten his combination/key, a white girl does it and they offered to help her cut the chain and free the bike, a black guy does it and gets immediately confronted and people threaten to phone the police on him for stealing.
There is a similar video for a couple have a aggressive argument. Everyone ignore the female threatening the male but vice-versa they were threatening to kick the **** out of the bloke or ring police. Doesn't change what i said, human society is ****ed up.
Why is somebody using race to hype up this non incident from 20 years ago, it makes no sense. its not even as if anyone from that time has just published a book that needs advertising, at least then i could understand the manufactured fuss.
Really? You do suprise me . Ps i know he has put on a couple of pounds since retiring but then again who wouldn't ? You are harsh..... man.
