He certainly is Rp, would be in my team, very intelligent, gets into good goal scoring position, always seems to find space, should have started in place of Pack in my opinion.
Our recent current defensive record isn't great- Derby might have only scored 1 in 6 but Sheff Wed had only got 5 all season before they played us and had let in 7 (the same number as we had prior to the game) You only need one goal to win a game-
should have started in place of Pack in my opinion' I think we'll need Pack this w/e as O'Neil is suspended, but I'd play Pack and Reid. Seems to me Reid is the 'easiest' to drop.
If Korey is fit, I'd want him alongside Pack. I'm a Reid fan, but think in O'Neil's absence the other two are a safer bet. Happy for him to come on as a sub though.
NickH - 'I'f Korey is fit, I'd want him alongside Pack'. Your reasoning holds water but tell me why Reid is dropped. He has scored more than anyone, other than Tammy, and has played well every time he's played. Reid, most definitely doesn't deserve being the first, every time, to be dropped.
The problem with B Reid is he cannot tackle and gets taken of the ball very easy. Where as pack is not great when we are under pressure from the opposition. But shades it with his tackling and ball play. Reid would defiantly score more though. I think you will find K Smith and O'Neil will be our main stay in the middle after the Derby game.
I don't now, I did but I think Reid and O'Neil make a good central partnership and I have always been Korey's biggest supporter. But I think we might become less of a threat without Reid now, hope I'm wrong but been really impressed with his progress.
Don't get me wrong, I'm also a big fan, but whoever deserves to start automatically means that someone else has to be left out. If LJ decides to start him I certainly won't be using that as a excuse if we end up not winning.
I really don't think LJ has a clue what his best side is,players he has purchased have not even played yet. Tomorrow i have not got a clue what will start, however some of the newbies should be given a chance. Be interesting to see the line up. if he goes with the same line up,i really believe the newbies are going to get a little bit frustrated in the not to distant future.
Sounds like another dig. I reckon he'd know his strongest line up if everyone played to their full potential, but the past couple of games have shown that certain players haven't been performing. Besides which, you need a squad to perform in a league, not just a strong 1st 11. It'll be very interesting to see how he decides to line up after the strong words following the Wednesday game, and it'll depend on the fitness of the likes of Smith, Ekstrand and Matthews. I still think he's doing a good job and trust him to make the right decision.
I have my usual pessimistic hat on and I forecast that Derby will hammer us by at least 4-0. They have a mean defence, cannot continue with their goal drought and above all, throughout my City career, we are the most charitable club in the country for helping struggling clubs to get back on track!
MIGHT SEE CAMAra PLAYING he was linked /watched with/by City before signing for Derby around the same time we signed KOD and Garita
