Apologies if a thread has already been created about Kodi but I've just installed it on Amazon Fire Stick and wondered if anyone has recommendations of a particular build to use? Ta.

You need a good, strong wood like oak and a nice colour for the finish. Possibly "Torino putty" or "Maltense brick".

In all seriousness I haven't got a clue. Castro seems to know his onions regards Kodi.

    I'd build it in lego.

But then I am possessed by aliens.

Had a mate install Kodi on my firestick, not sure what build he used, but as an add on if you like movies ensure Exodus is added, great site for all new movies. Got to say I`m struggling with sport add ons, the Sport Devil add on just doesn`t want to work. Have tried several of the sport add ons but seems an awful lot of buffering and pausing going on, good luck anyway.

    Agree with Stan City Rocker.

Go to add source and type in http://areswizard.co.uk. Or follow this video

Open it up and you get loads of choices. Some things work better than others on different systems.
Easy to try one and if you have any problems with it try another. I use Pulse build at the moment but have used others including Apollo. Look around and you can get good HD streams, especially as long from American sites which should we all Premier League matches on s Saturday live.

Sports Devil has been a bit temperamental recently. Try adding Pulse as per the video above, it keeps a lot of links up to date though there still some that don't work as you are after all relying on someone else giving up their time to keep these things up to date.

I have a very dumb question, I hope someone will take pity on me and answer it.

I occasionally watch matches on goatd.net, cricinfo, etc with varying degrees of success. I also watch the odd film on putlocker, and others.

Is Kodi simply a user-friendly front end to all these sites, and others which I've never heard of or watched, or is there more to it than that?

It is a user friendly front for these sites. But there is so much more it gives access to.Including H.d streaming of all live PL matches.

Mobdro is well worth installing as well especially on Android tablets and phones, for all SKY programmes and a host of other new from the USA.

Should have read Mobdro. Bloody autocorrect! You can put Mobdro on a firestick as well. Great if you don't have SKY.

BTW, an easy way to install Mobdro on your Amazon Fire Stick is this - (sharpness of picture depends on size of screen. Onmmy phone and tablet pin sharp, on a 42" plasma less so). If you do install keep scrolling down on Channels. There is everything you could want. Installing mobdro on an Android phone or tablet is just a straight down load from the mobdro website.
