O' Donnell horrible, basic blunders cost us 6 points last 2 games. No room for sentiment in this game (ask Joe Hart). Time for someone else between the sticks, can we get the Dortmund kid back in..?
He has defiantly cost us six points over the last two games. We need a replacement fielding is not the answer and it seems O'Donnall has question marks. Wigan fans did not rate him.
i agree, a bit of time on the bench will do him good, he is a good keeper, but maybe suffering from some confidence after last two games
5 points dropped and all due to errors or misunderstandings . maybe 1 more chance? or is he suffering from the "obo 110 x " better try and get this right syndrome and try's to hard!
Unlikely I'd say. I think O'Donnell is better overall than FF, but his recent mistakes have been very costly
All players make mistakes, with keepers rarely getting away with it. Confidence is the biggest factor in a keepers performance. low confidence = lots of mistakes, poor handling, catching, intercepting balls and clearing
Elkstrand for Flint. Maybe. Stating the keeper has cost six points over two games while ignoring the performances of others is uneven.
Its an opinion. A ill informed one. Tomlin has cost three points. Pack three. Flint six. O'neil three ...There is always a crisis if you look for one.
Sorry you've lost me there. We've dropped 5 points from the last 2 games is all that matters. A confidence boosting win on Saturday is now needed.
I am being facetious. Micro analysis of every players performance would see most of them dropped by this forum. All the keeper has failed to do is get his fingers down v up on a ball once. A confidence boosting win ... I have seen no crisis of confidence. Lots of positives.
Maybe, but the error resulted in a goal- Having played in goal, I know all about this one- One game I played, our two forwards couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. I saved a penalty and played pretty well until 85min when me and a defended had a mix up, not dissimilar to the Rotherham goal on Saturday- Guess who's fault we lost it was in the dressing room after and who my biggest 2 accusers were
An error that all keepers make. His team mates also could have done better over two game all over the pitch. Team errors should not make the more than decent performance level irrelevant.
Well yes, exactly, which was why my manager had to separate me and one of the forwards in the dressing room afterwards
