Aw divnt you be knocking our ginger scotsman. Some of our own (monty) are doing it for you. Big Dave will be alreet. Hopefully.
Dorty has been on one, was there a result which peaked your interest last night mate? They do look like cannon fodder. They have decent spells looking reasonably solid but defoe is tightly marked and eventually they break. Still they will sack him in early December and pull off another Houdini. I'm not sure if I want them to go down - kinda depends what league we are in. Then again it may teach them a bit of humility.
I'm not overly convinced they're well run enough to bounce back. Sure, lot of youth investment, but it counts for nowt if they're just not good enough. This was always our problem - if your aim is 17th year on year to keep the coffers topped up, eventually you'll miss by one place and down you go.
David Moyes is the perfect Manager for Sunderland. I hope he stays there for ten years, just like he did at Everton
Moyes and Short will be out by Jan, and we will finally get a Chinese owner in and Ancellotti plus £200m to guide us to the champions league, well in theory like !
Even Steven Hawking will struggle to understand ANY theory where you boys end up with a world class manager and £200m to spend. My theory is that you will retain Moyes and Ellis... spend nowt.... battle relegation and then escape by the skin of your teeth with the 6 points you will take off u........ oh wait....
I agree, I see no reason whatsoever that Carlo wouldn't ditch Bayern Munich for Sunderland. They've already sent their best player Kirchoff there to get everything ready for his arrival. So jealous of your club right now, we look so badly run in comparison. I want to know why we don't have this kind of ambition, why our fans aren't feeling this kind of optimism?
To understand try looking at it in this context A pop star decending from a private plane on the tarmac , That is Sunderland The fans behind the wire fence on the perimeter , NUFC fans No one begrudges the fans their admiration for a lot of them it will be the closest they get to stardom so they must take advantage of every opportunity
Can't see why Short would want to sell. He is like a successful version of Ashley. Spending minimal amounts while you manage to cling on at the bottom of the Premier League and rake in the cash. Has anybody figured out where all the money is going? Even if you finish bottom this year you will rake in 100million quid just from Premier League. Last year you got 72million Premier League/TV. Seems like he has it all sussed out.
