I hope Lee drops the players that have not performed over the two games.
Two players need dropping as they have cost us six points.
    Flint and O'Donnall.
LJ has the players to replace them bring Ekstrand and Fielding in even though I'm not a Fielding fan.
There is no sentiment in football as we saw with Kojak,if we are serious then give others their chance Saturday.

O Donnell definitely but I would keep Flint. Think there is a communications think with Flint and OD,Fielding should be fit and eager to go,

I would play Fielding over O'Donnall

    Ekstrand over Flint.

    Matthews for Little.

Patterson needs to start, looked good at Rotherham.

Tomlin i would give one more start, nothing like the player of last year.

    Engvall i would start.

Smith in for O'Neil not available red card.

We have lost six wasted points over 3 days that is not acceptable.Imagine having them on the table now, that would look really special,we would be third.

You would start Engvall? Someone you have never seen play and has been injured and also where you would play him, instead of Abraham?

So you've started with Patterson and Engvall, Tomlin! But only after one more start. So basically playing Saturday.
So just out of interest you've replaced the others with someone, surely your maths can tell you adding two more players will have a team of 13 players!

You've never seen Engvall play, his two international starts was when the rest of Europe was playing so they could only use Sweedish players from Sweedish clubs, and he is injured. You are a complete twat and spitting your toys out the pram just because we lost one game.

Derby will be the hardest game we will have played so far this season we have a history of "junp starting or being the springboard" for teams on a poor run to start a good run, USUALLY 2 OR 3 A SEASON ...........
ONLY Lee will know the team he will play, at the moment he seems to be getting half of it right! decisions that is ....

    • 12O'Donnell
    • 2Little
    • 4Flint
    • 23Magnusson
    • 3Bryan
    • 11O'Dowda
    • 14Reid
    • 8Brownhill
    • 7Smith
    • 21Pack
    • 10Tomlin
    • 13Golbourne
    • 9Abraham
    • 1Fielding
    • 5Ekstrand
    • 18Wilbraham
    • 20Paterson
    • 15 Freeman
    • should be his squad

    We didn't lose against Rotherham.

It's fair to criticise some of the players (it's just the extent of which is debatable), but you yourself included both O'Donnell and Flint in your preferred lineup for both those matches yes? LJ has already said that he intends to make changes, so it'll be interesting to see what he does, but can you at least admit that he shouldn't be blamed for starting both against Wednesday, when even you would have? A little humility on your part wouldn't go amiss.

Yes, it hurts missing out on points that were so readily attainable, but instead of being too negative about how great it would have been had we won both, there needs to be a balanced view about how many points have be garnered as a whole. Middlesbrough fans were probably pretty disappointed not to take any points from us last season, but they ended up OK I'd say.

So far we've earned an average of just over 1.4 points a game, which extrapolates to between 65 and 66 points over a season, which would have been good enough for 9th place last season; which is decent - though just 7 games played isn't much to make sweeping statements from (we've already played some tricky matches though).

I think we have reason to hope/expect a bit more, and some improvements need to be made, but I genuinely think we're very close to being a team that can make waves in this division. After 60 minutes, Wednesday fans were calling for their manager to be sacked.

We didn't lose against Rotherham. 'it felt like it at Rotherham' glad we got a point come the end'

I take your points Nick. I agree i would have started both for the Wednesday game, however both have messed up in the last two games costing us maximum points, even forgetting Tomlin missing the penalty.
I trust LJ to make changes Saturday,he has every right to with the caliber at his disposal.

They've scored 1 goal in 6 games and are currently 20th with one of the biggest budgets in the league.

    There's ya stats.

Not sure about replacing O'Donnell with Fielding.

OD has participated in some mistakes recently but Fielding hasn't long been back from injury and didn't exactly excel the last time he was between the sticks.
I would stick with OD myself and give Fielding a chance to prove himself in the cup game v Fulham.

Looking forward to Saturday, much more than past Saturdays from way back.
I really enjoy Football in the Championship and appreciate the quality of the players who currently wear our red shirt.
I've always had a fair idea of the 11 and set up we'd start with but the 'riches' we have I haven't a clue, which for this sad wrinkly makes it more exciting.
    Roll on Saturday.

From what I can tell, they're having plenty of possession in their matches, but just can't break teams down currently - which is probably why they were so desperate to sign a striker. Hopefully, our defence won't be as flimsy and error-strewn as they have been, otherwise we could well be the team to suffer.
