That's 24 goals he was involved in, and almost all of them meant nothing #doingalukaku

 

If you score so consistently that you go into the Guinness World Records and the PFA creates a special trophy for you then it might have a boost to the confidence of your team

If you're famous for scoring a hattrick against nomarks then going missing for 4 months then every goal you score in a loss is likely to piss off your teammates because you only care about individual #stats and not results

You guys will all point out Rush,Fowler etc for being legends their goals scored tallies would be bandied about..

With Benteke If he was as prolific as your own rules suggest Liverpool should have changed style slightly to suit as you point out the man is a legend never scores goals that dont matter so why get rid lol

We have a different view on this and that's fine. I totally accept where you're coming from. You obviously don't accept where I'm coming from, your choice and that's ok too. I just think that if there's a choice, I would rather have fewer goals and more points. Goes without saying that lots of goals and lots of points is better.

Lukakus problem is not scoring goals but scoring them in the most important moments in the game. He is still young and if he rids himself of that fluffing important chances he will be a beast.
