That is just about the most damning verdict possible to deliver on a footballer. So now we have Mackie and a worse Mackie.
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor...oyd-hasselbaink-pinpoints-difference-11884973 A piece by JFH saying “Obviously we are very sorry for the supporters. It hurts us as well - I know it really hurts our boys. “We need the help from the supporters to lift them. We lost together and we win together. “We lost badly but we lose badly together." Okay I am really sorry team JFH is right, we are in it together, and he is right I let the team down. I had a sausage roll and a beer JUST BEFORE THE KO. It was ME!.. I was slow, sluggish, slightly tipsy when I took on Newcastle last night...I should have been tighter on JohnJo Shelvey, I should have followed instruction...yes my head went down after we went 1-0 down. The team would have been brilliant last night and we would have won...except for me
I can't disagree with any of that, precise, constructive and not apportioning blame, but offering a solution.
Can't wait to read Clive's trilogy on this game On second thoughts I might postpone reading it until I've won the lotto, for balance
'Why is the bald man allowed to pass to anyone he likes without anyone tackling him'? Said the six year old sitting next to me ! Says it all really.
Sorry AWJM but I really have to disagree with you. Every R's player, to a man, gave a significantly inferior performance in every way, to their opposition player. As regards unity, we were not a team last night but more a deposit of players. I should add that the crowd were amazing and really tried to lift the team. The supporters did not deserve what they got in return. JFH & co should be ashamed.
Not a single word from Tony on his Twit account. Not even an inkling of whether he watched the game and what he thought. What sort of owner do we have? May be he's thinking about selling us now. I don't think he has a clue as to how to run a football club
We've all been trounced one time or another fellas, we (Newcastle) are currently on the wrong end of an eight game winless run against the mighty Sunderland....yeah, I know, we are the only team out there who can't beat them! **** happens in football, I guess. Anyhow, good luck for the rest of the season fellas
Sorry Col, strongly disagree here...Ned is no RB. Perch is a better back..Perch has had some decent performance this season
No where did I say any of our players matched theirs. Watching them felt like watching a good premier league side, not even a lower table one.
Has he Beth? Just my luck to miss them. Onouha is not a natural full back but he offers much more than Perch based on what I have seen.
