Mbokani joined the Tigers on a season-long loan from Dynamo Kiev on transfer deadline day and having scored seven times during a similar spell with Norwich City last season, the 30-year-old striker is excited to be back in the Premier League. “I can’t wait to make my first appearance for this team and to play in front of the fans,” said Mbokani. “I have tried to adapt to the game in England after playing for Norwich last season. The Premier League is an exciting league to play in and this is why I wanted to come back to play in England again. “I feel I am ready and I’m looking forward to giving my best in a Hull shirt. I am ready to start scoring goals for Hull and I want to score as many as I can. I will do my best to please the fans.” Mbokani has been training with his new team-mates for just over a week now and feels he is settling in well. “I’m very happy to have joined Hull,” he added. “Training has been very good and I am enjoying getting to know the other players. Everybody has welcomed me here and I am looking forward to playing for this team.” Having watched from the sidelines as the Tigers drew with Burnley last weekend with Caretaker Manager Mike Phelan opting to give the powerful forward an extra couple of days to get up to speed, Mbokani is keen to be involved when Arsenal arrive at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday. “We have been preparing well and feel ready to face Arsenal and we will be doing our best to get a result. “It would be a very exciting game for me to make my first appearance for Hull and it is something I am really looking forward to.” http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...-get-started-3307352.aspx#Zz3YuOxoG7hplMCY.99
Sounds good and could be a good foil for Abel against arsenal, Will we play 4-4-2? I can't see Diomande starting after showing some frailties in his last couple of starts. Can Mbokani play wide in a front 3?
