The wins, the team, the squad depth, the team spirit and most importantly the fans. All this stems from the decision a champions league class manager took when he decided to follow his heart and manage us in this division. Still can't believe we have him. Rafa... I salute you. Gracias amigo.
Howay ACS..You know we should have appointed Bruce/Pearson/Curbishley as Rafa has never managed in the 2nd tier, wont be able to handle the schedule/intensity/physicality of the league, has no man managing skills (unlike Pards) and he will buckle under pressure We made a huge huge mistake appointing him..just look at our results man He is destroying our glorious NUFC leaky defence tradition, built up over many many years He has single handedly alienated and sold our best mercanaries for a profit ..Colo/Sissoko etc The players we have are a team and trying 100%..that's not the way forward ..we are a stepping stone don't forget He is negative and defensive..just look at the last 5 games.. hardly a goal feast the team is a disorganized mess ..and he keeps telling them ..they can do better ...Is the man never satisfied? He keeps raising the bar. Does he not know the damage he is doing to the players ego's to expect more from them? He expects and trains the players to win in different ways...what the hell is he thinking?...at least pards and Mclaren had a single tactic and applied it willy nilly to every situation ..there is value in consistency even when its obvious. easy to counter and requires little thought from the manager Bloody deluded Geordies ..is all I can say
Long live the delusion. Viva la Rafalution. It feels mint to have something to get carried away with for once rather than load up the dingy with extra supplies and ride the river of beel like we've had to do for years.
It's faultless management thus far. I looked-on with interest to see the situation with JJ Shelvey - superb management - leave him out until he's ready to give his best and adjust his attitude. Shelvey looks like he can run the midfield this season. If only this week could have been made sweeter by a local rival getting pumped at home... oh wait!
Anyone else see some similarities with the way Shelvey and Stevie G play in the formation? Jonjo is nowhere near the class of SG though but in this division can have a similar effect in dictating play.
Unbridled optimism. You'll get people criticising you for that you know ACS, its a crime to be a daft fan with blind love these days.
Indeed mate. My view... **** it. I'll beel when I want but equally enjoy the fun times while I can too. That's what being a fan is all about for me. The ups and downs, the pissing and the moaning... the blind hope. Looking forward to loads of new away grounds this year too. Times are fun again. Sometimes you need to take a step back to take two forward.
FFS mate if you can't enjoy the highs with all the lows we have then there is something wrong. Its nice to see supporters enjoying football again. I did say the PL is not the be all and end all
WADA are currently en route to your house mate. Just sit down, stay calm and everything will be fine mate. Let them in and let them do that sample. This Captainchaos v2.0 is a cool dude.
I have visions of him hunched over a bowl of Alpen with a polymer fiver in the other hand arranging his lines of wheat and barley.
