Another straight forward victory with a Murphy firing and Klose on the end of everything. £8m for Pritchard
Yet another pathetic performance from a team showing more complacency and insulting the fans who attended the match and who paid good money for this rubbish. How anybody can get a positive out of this game is beyond me but I suspect there will some who will attempt to do so.
Well, I'll step up to the plate on that one. With two goals scored early, the focus was on preserving the win, but we still managed 16 shots with 5 on target. That's better than against Cardiff and another win sees us 3 points off first and 1 point off second. At this stage of the season that's on target for promotion with 14 points from 7 matches.
Preston, Barnsley and Newcastle all dominated their oppo and killed them off. Why couldn't we do that at home against the side second bottom in the league? It's three points, fair enough, but as with Cardiff, we made heavy weather of it. And against a better class of adversary, we'd have drawn or even lost that
Well, now sat in the pub after watching the game and thought McGovern was MotM for me - he'd 3 or 4 brilliant saves in the 2nd half. Klose, Dorrans, Howson, Bennett and Jacob all played well - Martin was beaten several times towards the end of the 2nd half.
Well we're still 4th in the league. So what position are the teams we've played so far currently in 6/8 Blackburn 1 (24th) Norwich 4 13/8 Norwich 0 Sheffield Wed 0 (9th) 16/8 Norwich 1 Bristol City 0 (12th) 21/8 Ipswich 1 (8th) Norwich 1 27/8 Birmingham 3 (5th) Norwich 0 10/9 Cardiff 2 (21st) Norwich 3 13/9 Norwich 2 Wigan 1 (23rd) So the only top 6 team we've played so far is Birmingham who thumped. The highest place team we've beat is Bristol in 12th. Of the 4 wins we've had only one (Bristol) has been against a team above 21st in the league. Not convinced our current position is any real indicator of how well we're doing
After Brum I wanted 6 points or Neil would be under fire. He delivered the only hiccup was not unleashing Josh to kill off ****ty Wigan instead of Mulumbo. Yes I know it's misspelt
Dear oh dear, we really tried so hard to give that game away, and almost succeeded. Second half was so awful it's indiscribable.
