We still haven't turned up for this season. Passing all over the place, poor defensive covering from midfield, getting over-run in midfield (not just tonight). Plus a general lack of energy and sharpness. P.S Why do we still persist with Chamberlain?
Getting all these crosses and corners. Giroud should be brought on. Any manager with a tactical brain would see that.
We've started to play better in the last 5-10 minutes, but we're still passing it around in front of their back four without actually showing much conviction when attacking. And I don't see what the point is of getting to the byline and crossing it in when there's no focal point or anyone that's above 5'10. The only vulnerability PSG look like they have is from set-pieces, which we need to take full advantage of.
Our passing in the final third has been shambolic. We either make the wrong pass which allows them to gain their shape back or we keep underhitting them which makes it easy for them to intercept and start a counter attack.
Cavani misses an open goal Total miscommunication at the back, I am stunned a player of that quality didn't put that away. Should've been 2-0.
Why the hell did no-one shoot?! That would've been a decent opportunity to test the 'keeper, but as per usual, we make a pass too many and the chance is gone. Sad how predictable we are.
You know what the saddest part of this is? PSG haven't even looked that impressive. Genuinely, I don't think they're that good. Yet they're comfortably beating us and getting in behind our defence pretty much every time they come forward...

We have to make sure we get to HT without conceding again. If we can get Giroud up front and use the width to get balls into him, then we can score in this game.
Chamberlain just lost the ball and didn't even run after it. Rabiot was able to do a full turn in the centre of the pitch without any bloody pressure!
Get Giroud on now for the ox. We should be at least 3 nil down. But PSG are a top team and have only lost to barca in something like the last 39 champions league ties at home.
