Another difficult away trip...dont want to get to confident so happy with a 1.1 draw but deep deep Doon i feel another 2..0.. Away win..hwtls.
Stopped listening to us on the radio live following 5-5 draw away to QPR years back. Started listening at half time as score was 4-0 to us. If we'd had to play 1 minute more I'm sure we'd have lost.
I was at that game (1985) got there 10mins late and we were already 2-0 up. Plastic pitch!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't want to come over all 'Captain Chaos' (no not like that) but...... I think we may lose this one chaps. I have a terrible feeling it will be 1-0 to QPR.
It'll be interesting to see what the starting line up will be. How much rotation will there be? Will anyone who wasn't in the squad against Derby now be included and if so who will they replace? I'm not going to predict a lineup because I literally have no idea. It might be the same for the players which will keep everyone on their toes.
Read Gouff and Colback are carrying injuries. Hayden in for Colback and Atchoo in for Gouff. Also fancy Mitro will get on tonight and start with Perez up front.
Not confident about tonight at all. This month was always going to be a tough one for us: Brighton, Derby, QPR, Wolves, Norwich, Villa. 2 or 3 of those teams (alongside us hopefully) are probably going to be in the top 6 this season. So long as we're within 5 or 6 points of automatic promotion at the end of October then Nov/Dec/Jan look pretty nice. 0 - 0 Similar to the Fulham game but without the mistake. Actually think it will be a bit dull.
Hmm, not sure. I don't think QPR are as good as Derby or Brighton. I'd like to think we can sneak a victory here. Do think it'll be a bit dull - in fact I think we'll be hugely pragmatic (i.e. dull) all season, Rafa (and us) will take that all day in exchange for the resulting promotion. I hope we can win as we will certainly need as much confidence as possible heading into the tough fixtures - Norwich look half decent, but fortunately for us we seem (touch wood) to really enjoy playing them. If we end October top of this league, then I might be tempted to smile. Doubt it, but - any streams? Kodi won't have this, but I guess it'll be BBC Radio Newcastle.
I remember it well! The daft sods on the telly went to interview some Newcastle fans at half time, LIVE! As soon as the clicked on, there was a lot of anti Sunderland swear words. They stopped doing it after that.
