Schmeichel Hernandez - Morgan - Huth - Fuchs Mendy - Amartey - Drinkwater Mahrez - Slimani - Musa I agree something needs to change. This might be a gamble too far, but it might be worth experimenting with 3 in midfield against Brugge. Could easily play King instead of Amartey if we want to go more attacking, or play him at RB in place of Hernandez, who hasn't impressed me so far.
King's experience in game like these might see him come in He has played in alot of places like this for Wales before

Good spot lads ha! Obviously wasn't at my best when I put that! Either way something along those lines would be interesting but you'd then be looking at one of the 3 in the middle dropping out but we may look better defensively if we have 3 at the back with 2 wing back as we did under Pearson. We were fortunate last season that Kante was like a third man in the middle but 4 4 2 doesn't seem to be working right now. I was thinking Albrighton as cover for Simpson if he's out for a few games and Fuchs has been disappointing so I'd quite like to see Chilwell
Amartey played centre-half for Copenhagen - what was evident on Saturday is that Wes and Hooooooooth are susceptible to nimble fleet footed forwards - Amartey is much quicker ... I have no idea what Claudio will do - but like after the Arsenal game last season, he will weigh things up and react ...
I'd still start with 4-4-2 and see how it goes, the CL isn't the place to make drastic changes to formation and personnel.
