1 Snodgrass - always available, great winner. 2. Livermore - composed and great distribution. 3. Hernandez - great workrate leading the line.
Snodgrass - Top class player, our only serious threat going forward. I and many others thought we overpaid for him but what a bargain he was Clucas - Covers serious ground and picks some good passes, playing like Kante did for Leicester last year Livermore - Great in defence, gives us an option bringing the ball out and has the pace to cover. Wouldn't move him from CB unless we seriously need to
Snodgrass Davies Livermore substitutions made all the difference - Dio and Meyler very poor and Maloney livened it up as he did against Swansea - good point in the end but leaving the team unchanged for sentimental reasons rather than picking the best eleven probably cost us two points
Snodgrass Huddlestone Clucas No one had a bad game, Meyler/Livermore/Davies were as solid as ever and Robertson pace really was a threat.
no difference to your constant digs at Huddlestone - anyway, football's about opinions, clearly Phelan thought the same as me as he took them both off and then we scored
I thought both Meyler and Huddlestone had pretty good games today. Meyler was unlucky not to have a goal and an assist, and Thudd intelligently won the free kick which got us our equalizer.
Snodgrass Davies Huddlestone Special mention to Marney for wearing the same shooting boots as when he was with us. The pigeons needed their hard hats on.
Livermore Davies Snodgrass Another solid performance by all starters again. Marvellous control & final shot by the lad who scored their goal, so really couldn't fault our lads on that incident. Excellent free by Snodders. Shows what team togetherness can achieve. Definitely more freedom given by Phelan as opposed to Bruce. Hernandez worked very hard, Diomande is getting used to this league, but his first touch needs improving somewhat. Hardly a mistake by Meyler today, which was good to see. Jak growing in confidence also. Well engineered (and deserved) point after late goal by them as they never gave up.
